On August 10, 2024, we took part in the 10th anniversary of the Organic Christmas Tree Initiative with our plastic-free nature nets. The meeting took place at Stefan Lüdenbach's farm in Engelskirchen and was a great day full of sharing, fun and delicious food.

 

The day started with a tour of Lüdenbach's farm and crops - perfect for those who were not yet familiar with the farm. In about 1.5 hours we got a good insight into the work on site.

 

Afterwards there was coffee and cake, where we were able to chat in a relaxed atmosphere.

 

A highlight of the afternoon was the discussion about the packaging laws. Alongside Mr. Neisser from Neisser Geoprodukte GmbH and Johannes Schmid from TannenTwister, we (Sylvia and Dietmar) from NaturNetz were on hand to share our knowledge and answer lots of questions.

 

At the end, things got really cozy: The summer meeting seamlessly turned into a small party, where we were finally able to meet members we had only heard of before.

 

There was delicious food, drinks and lots of nice conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.
All in all, it was a successful day on which we learned a lot and, above all, enjoyed the time together.  Thank you very much.
